The Irish Centre for Gerontology and the Simon Community seek research participants
The Irish Centre for Gerontology in the University of Galway in association with the Simon Community are conducting a study that needs participants. The study is funded by the National Disability Authority.
To be part of the research you must be a disabled adult 55 or older who is:
- Experiencing homelessness or
- Have recently experienced homelessness or
- Are at risk of homelessness
Participation involves:
- A 1-hour interview with the researcher
- Held online or in-person (your choice!)
They want to understand:
- The challenges you faced finding and keeping a safe home
- How easy or hard it is to use housing and homelessness services
- What needs to change to improve support
