The Irish Centre for Gerontology and the Simon Community seek research participants

The Irish Centre for Gerontology in the University of Galway in association with the Simon Community are conducting a study that needs participants. The study is funded by the National Disability Authority.

To be part of the research you must be a disabled adult 55 or older who is: 

• Experiencing homelessness or 
• Have recently experienced homelessness or 
• Are at risk of homelessness 

Participation involves: 

• A 1-hour interview with the researcher  
• Held online or in-person (your choice!) 

They want to understand: 

• The challenges you faced finding and keeping a safe home  
• How easy or hard it is to use housing and homelessness services  
• What needs to change to improve support
